English: Pictures of (and inside) a mosque and the madrasa as part of a complex (külliye). On a website I found, translated and edited: The inscription indicating the construction date and the founder of the Yoğurtluoğlu Mosque and madrasah, located in the Beyler Deresi district of the Turan District in the Tire district of Izmir, has not survived. It is thought to have been built by Yoğurtluoğlu Mehmet Bey in the 16th century. It is popularly known as Yavukluoglu Kulliye. The madrasa forms a part of the building complex, with soup kitchen and a mosque. In front of the madrasa cells, there is a portico connected to each other by round arches. Behind this, fourteen madrasah cells open to the courtyard with a round-arched door and a rectangular window. Hearths and niches are located inside the madrasah cells. The madrasa was in ruins for many years and was used as a shelter for the poor for a while. It was restored in 2005 by the General Directorate of Foundations.
