🛠️ Coordinators' Guide: Manual Archiving
[taƴto ɗaɗi wiki]To keep our portal fast and clean, we move completed requests to the archive at the end of every month. Please follow these steps to ensure data integrity.
Step 1: Verification
[taƴto ɗaɗi wiki]Before archiving, ensure the request has a final status:
- ✔ Approved – Data has been sent and user notified.
- ✘ Rejected – User has been given a reason for the rejection.
Step 2: Moving the Content
[taƴto ɗaɗi wiki]- Go to the Active Requests page.
- Cut (Ctrl+X) the completed request section.
- Open the relevant archive subpage (e.g., January 2026).
- Paste (Ctrl+V) the content under the appropriate month header.
Step 3: Update the Dashboard
[taƴto ɗaɗi wiki]Go to the Main Portal Page and update the Request Status Dashboard numbers:
- Increase the Total Requests count.
- Update the Approved or Rejected counts based on the final decision.
Step 4: Formatting (Optional but Recommended)
[taƴto ɗaɗi wiki]If you are moving many requests, use the table format for a cleaner look:
|- | [[User:Username]] || Date || Status || Amount || Brief Note
⚖️ Judging Guidelines
[taƴto ɗaɗi wiki]When reviewing a request, use this checklist to stay fair:
| Checkpoint | Standard | Decision |
|---|---|---|
| Identity | Is the user logged in? (No IPs) | Reject if IP |
| Activity | Have they made 100+ edits in the last 30 days? | Check History |
| Data Usage | Is the amount requested realistic for the project? (e.g., 50GB for 1 article is too much). | Adjust / Limit |
| Project | Is it for Wikimedia work? | Approve |
| Reports | If they received data before, did they submit an Impact Report? | Hold until reported |
